Crayons...

...were not meant for the couch, Benjamin.

He also colored on Danny's bed and the plug for the baby monitor. Why?

He's a creative genius. That's all. : ) Hang in there.

My mom, after having 3 kids, decided to put a border all around our room at a chair rail level. Everything below the rail we could write on, everything above was off limits. It therefore "limited" our creativity space while allowing us our destructive tendencies.

They even make chalk board paint nowadays.

I've been told that Mr. Clean Magic Eraser will get crayon off, but I haven't actually tried it...

mr clean eraser will get the crayon off if you have semi gloss or gloss. on my flat paint, mr clean removed the crayon and paint. the magic eraser will also remove black sharpie marker from your table tops. it will not however remove marker that has bled through the flat paint into your drywall.

Oh, crap. Clearly, Ben disapproves of the original state of the couch covers. Well, hey... you needed this challenge. Life has been pretty boring for you lately.

My son did the same thing back in the spring. Your couch doesn't look too bad. Do you remember my picture? We still see the hint of grey on the chair. I don't know if you tried, but those magic erasers got most of the crayon off. If you have a chance review my blog post. Yikes!!
