Odd occurrences

It's been a while since I've posted...life is too crazy these days to blog...but I have a few minutes, so here goes:

*Still haven't switched into the maternity pants. I've only gained 4 pounds. Is this something to be concerned about or happy about? Can't decide. I definitely LOOK pregnant, but the scale's not showing it.
*Ben is the only one in the house who is sick...yellow goop in his nose...pretty high fever. Yesterday, I took him to the doctor. He said the yellowness of the goop usually means an infection somewhere and that his throat looked kind of red and one of his tonsils was starting to look suspicious. How is this kid sick again? I am majorly troubled by this. Honestly, he is sick A LOT! And he doesn't go to daycare. What would it be like if he was actually around other kids? Also, the sore throat and fever have not affected his appetite at all. He continues to eat like a horse.
*I lost a brown shoe that I loved somewhere in the house. It was honestly gone for over a month. It showed up mysteriously last weekend. I'm wearing the shoes today.
*At around 5:30, this morning, I woke up and couldn't find Ben in the bed (at some point every night, he comes into our room to sleep with me). I could hear him, but I couldn't find him. I realized that he had gotten out of the bed and was asleep on some pillows on the floor next to the bed. I don't get this at all.
*I woke up this morning and got in the shower. A sailboat sticker was stuck to my right calf. Apparently all night. Didn't notice it. Funny!
*For the first time in my teaching career, I can't figure out what to spend my teacher's allocation on. I have some definite ideas, but I am having a little trouble :0) This is definitely a good problem to have!

Don't feel badly.. everyone's fallen off the blog wagon these days. It's been a year since we started these things... can you believe that? That will probably be the subject of my next posting... I'm at a major loss for material (or inspiration) these days.
